I had to put them near by the easy to reach objective in case the game ended on turn 5, but that left them out of position to control the other one.

Re: Mkerr's Flywire - TSHIFT Event Report on Blood of Kittens

Dusldorf’s Space Wolves the blood axes are really the termy lord delivery system. Trust me you are dealing with all the other threats first before you can even get to the Termy.

I loved Koyote's blood angels just because of the Dev squad and wirlwind

AS for Fluger's orks so many elements that must work into tandem. In the game he lost it looked like he just could not get the senergy he needed he had one large ork boy squad that came in too late.

Re: Mkerr's Flywire - TSHIFT Event Report on Blood of Kittens

Awesome to see you on the Flywire! The tournament sounded awesome and I really enjoyed the reports!

It sounds like you guys have a great group. If you ever come down to Austin, you should stop by and play a few games with us -- or better yet, come down next year for BOLSCON 2010!

Re: Mkerr's Flywire - TSHIFT Event Report on Blood of Kittens

I did a review of the event and the five games I played, posted here:
http://chaosgerbil.wordpres...

It was a fun tourney with no drama.

Re: Mkerr's Flywire - TSHIFT Event Report on Blood of Kittens

I should also note that the bat reps you're showing for Dusldorf are from the previous TSHFT in May, not the current one, though I don't believe he changed anything in his list.

Re: Mkerr's Flywire - TSHIFT Event Report on Blood of Kittens

Hey, this is fluger. Thanks for the kudos! My army is Blood Axe theme so I like to think I have stategery or the like! :)

Koyote (who posts a ton on Bolter and Chainsword btw) and Dusldorf (and Wadders who finished 3rd overall) all play at the store that puts this event on (Fire and Sword). We play each other regularly and all of us play in GTs and the like, so all tourney vets. We all have the mindset that balanced lists designed to do well in all phases of the game (HtH, shooting, speed, objective holding, etc) is what you must do to be competitive in the long run. None of us run anything too unconventional nor overwhelming, but it all synergizes very well.

I post a ton on Ordo Fanaticus, a Pacific Northwest game club/forum, and I invite you to check it out as well as post a link to this blog.
